Maths Teacher

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent/Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP or January Start Available
Salary: MPS/UPS - Paid in Line with Your Current Teaching Scale Point

 

We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Salford seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their successful Maths department on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes high standards and excellent behaviour.
  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about raising attainment and student achievement.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • ECT applications are welcomed.

Salary Information

Full-time positions are paid in accordance with your current Main Pay Scale (MPS) or Upper Pay Scale (UPS) point. Salary offers will be aligned to your existing scale point and relevant teaching experience in line with school pay policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
