0.8 Maths teacher required from March 2021.

Are you a qualified Maths teacher seeking a part-time (0.8) role from March 2021? Do you have experience teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE, along with differentiating work to meet the needs of all ability levels?

Teaching Personnel are working with the Senior Leaders at a small secondary Academy in Salford to appoint a part-time Maths teacher to work with the school from March 2021 for the remainder of the academic year (initially).

Due to a staffing restructure within the Maths department, the Head of Maths has identified a gap for a teacher to join them on a 0.8 basis, which equates to four days per week. The four days are negotiable, and the school are welcoming applications from both experienced and newly qualified Maths teachers.

This position will incorporate teaching Maths across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four and the incoming Maths teacher will hold full responsibilities for planning and marking throughout the position.

-          Part-time (0.8) Maths teacher required, March 2021 start.

-          Offered until the end of the academic year initially, may be subject to continuation.

-          Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604 per annum).

-          Small secondary Academy based in central Salford, accessible via the M60 motorway & A580 (East Lancashire Road).

Situated in central Salford, our partner secondary Academy can be accessed via the M60 motorway and A580 (East Lancashire Road). For non drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas – Bolton, Trafford and central Manchester.

Maths teachers interested in this role are urged to apply straight away. For immediate consideration, please submit a full CV to Nicola Pollitt. To obtain further information, please contact the Manchester West Secondary Office on the contact number provided below;

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
