Full time Maths Teacher required for long term position starting in September 2019.

Based in a leafy suburb of Rochdale and close to major public transport links, our school is perfectly situated for a Maths Teacher or Newly Qualified Maths Teacher seeking a 'Good' school that is both easily accessible as well as an enjoyable place to work. With an impressive main building consisting of modern facilities throughout, the incoming Maths Teacher can benefit from excellent teaching and learning provisions as well as real career progression opportunities and the chance to take on added responsibilities. The Headteacher has also opened this vacancy to Newly Qualified Maths Teachers and would like to hear from any ambitious NQTs that are seeking a welcoming and supportive environment and a bespoke NQT programme that will tailor to their individual needs and be given every opportunity to become an outstanding teacher.

  • Full time position starting in September 2019 for a Maths Teacher or Newly Qualified Maths Teacher
  • Working within an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Rochdale with excellent training and development opportunities
  • Paid in line with teaching scale point (MPS/UPS) as well as responsibilities up taken (£23,720 -£39,406)

The incoming Maths Teacher will take on a full Maths Teaching timetable involving both KS3 and GCSE Maths and will also have the added responsibility of a form group. The school have full schemes of work set within the department and as such planning is limited to tailoring to the individual needs of the pupils and their progress, however the incoming Maths Teacher will be responsible for marking work and implementing individual strategies for pupils to raise attainment within the Maths department.
