Maths Teacher - Secondary School, Newcastle

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate students of all abilities
  • Support learners in developing strong mathematical foundations and confident reasoning skills
  • Prepare students for exams while fostering a genuine interest and enjoyment in maths
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive, forward-looking maths department
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as maths clubs, competitions or enrichment sessions

Who You Are

  • A qualified Maths Teacher with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Confident delivering the national curriculum and skilled at adapting lessons to meet diverse needs
  • Enthusiastic about helping students grow, progress and achieve their potential
  • A proactive team player who enjoys sharing ideas and embracing new approaches
  • Someone who brings creativity, energy and a positive classroom presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
