Maths Teacher

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Maths teacher for a Durham secondary school. Full time position starting January 2026. ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply.

What you'll be teaching:

Maths across secondary. Delivering lessons to a range of abilities, using creative teaching methods, inspiring students to engage with problem solving. Working within a supportive department that values collaboration and student success.

You need:

Strong Maths subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject
Excellent communication skills (with students and colleagues)
Creative teaching approaches tailored to different abilities
Solid classroom management and confidence to inspire
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Pay: £168.60 to £261.78 per day according to your teaching scale point (M1 to UPS3)
Contract: Full time
Start: January 2026
Location: Durham
