Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location:
North West England, Greater Manchester, Droylsden

Job Type:
Contract - 1 year fixed term contract from Sep 2025 (plus June - July 2025), expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary:
£162 - £251 Per day (teacher pay scale)
Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons for students.
2. Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
3. Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective teaching strategies.
5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
Required Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Mathematics or Education.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
Education:
PGCE (QTS) in Secondary Maths
Experience:
Proven experience in teaching Mathematics to secondary school students.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Maths.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Education.
Experience in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Working Conditions:
Work in a school setting with regular hours during term time.
Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities and parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
