Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Dorchester
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with the potential for a permanent position)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Dorchester seeking a committed Mathematics Teacher to join their team from September.

The Role
As the successful candidate, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.

Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities.
-
Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support attainment.
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the success of the Maths department.

Promote high standards of behaviour, effort and academic achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.

Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
-
Be committed to raising student attainment through engaging and inspiring lessons.
-
Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
-
Be proactive, organised and committed to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
