Maths Teacher – Secondary School, Weymouth

Start Date: September

Are you a passionate and inspiring Maths Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our successful secondary school in Weymouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is committed to helping students develop confidence, curiosity and a love of mathematics. You will join a supportive and collaborative department that strives to achieve excellent outcomes for all learners.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where appropriate)

  • Inspire students to develop strong mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that support the needs of all learners

  • Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school community

  • Support students in achieving their academic potential

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it

  • Has a strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics

  • Is committed to raising achievement and improving outcomes for students

  • Has excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach

  • Is enthusiastic, creative and dedicated to student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
