Temporary Maths Teacher – Secondary School (Corby)
Start Date: 15th June
End Date: 10th July
Location: Corby
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Corby to recruit a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher for a short-term assignment. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for a focused, temporary opportunity at the end of the academic year.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Support students of varying abilities to ensure inclusive learning
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department and wider school staff

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
