About the Role
You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department, teaching engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is more than a teaching role — it’s an opportunity to inspire curiosity, boost confidence, and help students see the real-world value of Maths.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that engage and challenge all learners

Building a positive, focused classroom culture through clear expectations and consistent routines

Inspiring students to enjoy Maths and develop essential problem-solving skills

Using effective assessment and feedback to drive progress and raise attainment

Contributing to a collaborative department that values innovation and professional growth
About You
You’ll be someone who thrives on making a difference — both in the classroom and as part of a wider school community.
We’re looking for a teacher who:

Has a genuine passion for Maths and the ability to make it engaging for all learners

Delivers lessons that are both inspiring and well-structured to maintain focus and motivation

Demonstrates confident classroom management and a calm, consistent approach to behaviour

Has experience teaching across a range of abilities and differentiates effectively

Is reflective, open to new ideas, and committed to their professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
