About the Role

You’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department, teaching engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is more than a teaching role — it’s an opportunity to inspire curiosity, boost confidence, and help students see the real-world value of Maths.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that engage and challenge all learners

• Building a positive, focused classroom culture through clear expectations and consistent routines

• Inspiring students to enjoy Maths and develop essential problem-solving skills

• Using effective assessment and feedback to drive progress and raise attainment

• Contributing to a collaborative department that values innovation and professional growth

About You

You’ll be someone who thrives on making a difference — both in the classroom and as part of a wider school community.

We’re looking for a teacher who:

• Has a genuine passion for Maths and the ability to make it engaging for all learners

• Delivers lessons that are both inspiring and well-structured to maintain focus and motivation

• Demonstrates confident classroom management and a calm, consistent approach to behaviour

• Has experience teaching across a range of abilities and differentiates effectively

• Is reflective, open to new ideas, and committed to their professional development
