Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester

Role Overview

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that nurture a love of learning.
  • Monitor and support student progress to ensure all learners reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental projects.
  • Actively participate in the wider life of the school community.

Person Specification

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrate strong subject expertise and enthusiasm for Mathematics.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and contribute positively to school life.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
