Maths Teacher

Location: Salford
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

 

A secondary school in Salford is seeking to appoint a committed and knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join its team from September 2026. The successful candidate will become part of a well-established department within a school that belongs to a respected multi-academy trust, offering excellent support and opportunities for professional advancement.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress to ensure strong outcomes
  • Supporting pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Contributing to departmental development and collaborative planning
  • Upholding high standards of behaviour in accordance with school policies

 

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of the Mathematics curriculum
  • The ability to motivate and engage students effectively
  • A commitment to raising attainment and maintaining high expectations
  • Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
