*Full time Maths teaching position – October 2016

*Teaching both KS3 and GCSE Maths

*Covering maternity leave for the remainder of the 2016/17 academic year

*Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

Our client school is an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ 11 – 16 mixed sex secondary school located in the heart of Bury.

The head of Maths of this high achieving secondary school seeks to appoint an energetic Maths teacher to cover a long term absence (Maternity) for the full academic year, commencing from October 2016. If you are looking to work within a well managed school where pupil behaviour is good, this is the ideal opportunity.

Located on the outskirts of the town centre the school is just a short drive from the M66 motorway making the surrounding areas easily commutable; Rochdale, Oldham, Bolton. With roughly 900 pupils on roll, this is an average sized secondary school whereby the percentage of pupils eligible for pupil premium funding is lower than the national average.

Applicants wishing to be considered for this position will be required to teach Maths in a creative and engaging way to pupils across years 7-11. It is essential that applicants hold UK QTS and will hold a previous track record of consistently being able to deliver ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ practice. Both experienced and NQT’s are encouraged and welcome to apply for this opportunity.

Any Mathematics teachers applying for this role will need to email their CV straight away to matthew.mccabe@teachingpersonnel.com , for further details please call the office on 0161 242 1794. The school seek to meet suitable applicants ASAP with an earlier start date potentially available to the successful Maths teacher.
