Working in partnership with a secondary school in the BD4 area of Bradford, we are seeking a hard-working and dedicated teacher to deliver mathematics to pupils at KS3 level. The successful candidate will be comfortable delivering lessons in a well-established school as well as becoming a proactive part of the team in delivering exceptional learning. The Academy prides themselves on their diverse culture, promoting inclusive behaviours and ambition amongst their pupils.

As well as the opportunity to gain experience in an Ofsted ‘ood’G rated school, the successful candidate will also benefit from optional CPD. Requirements for the role:

-          Relevant degree

-          UK teaching qualification PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status

-          Experience of teaching maths or a related subject

Responsibilities expected from the candidate:

-          Comfortable delivering maths according to the curriculum

-          Being flexible in your approach to teaching to different abilities

-          Creative approach to delivering and creating lesson plans to aid pupil engagement

-          Supporting students in achieving their academic goals

-          Passion for education with the ability to adapt the delivery according to pupils needs

-          Embodying the school’s ethos and promoting their values through learning delivery

This position is well suited to a confident candidate willing to plan and deliver lessons creatively with pupil’s needs in mind.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
