Job description

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students to develop:

  • confidence with mathematical concepts
  • strong problem‑solving skills
  • a positive mindset towards learning
  • the resilience to progress and achieve their full potential

You will join a collaborative, supportive staff team that values teamwork, trust and professional autonomy.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Deliver engaging, well‑planned lessons that challenge and motivate students
  • Build strong relationships through clear communication and positive behaviour management
  • Share the school’s commitment to high expectations, good manners and a positive learning culture

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
