We are recruiting a committed and knowledgeable Qualified Maths Teacher to join a well‑established secondary school in the Essex area. This role is perfect for an experienced practitioner or a confident ECT looking for a supportive environment to grow.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
• Planning, marking and assessing in line with school policy
• Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting department initiatives and contributing to curriculum development
• Managing behaviour effectively and building strong relationships with students

What We’re Looking For

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching GCSE Maths
• Ability to inspire and motivate learners of varying abilities
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Professional, proactive and reliable approach
• Previous UK secondary teaching experience
