Are you confident, adaptable and looking to gain classroom experience within secondary schools? We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across a range of Basildon schools, supporting students and ensuring learning continues in the teacher’s absence.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage the classroom, maintain behaviour standards, and support student engagement
• Take attendance and ensure a smooth continuation of learning
• Work across KS3–KS4 (ages 11–16)

This role is ideal for:

• Graduates considering a career in teaching
• Experienced Cover Supervisors looking for new opportunities
• Confident professionals with transferable skills (youth work, coaching, support roles)

• Confidence leading a classroom
• Strong behaviour management
• Positive, proactive attitude
• Ability to build rapport quickly
• Previous school experience beneficial but not essential
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete safeguarding checks
