Maths Teacher, Hackney

THE SCHOOL:

The School was founded in 2007 and is located in Hackney. The school has nine hundred students within the years seven to thirteen. The strong partnership with UBS affords students a wide range of opportunities for example a diverse curriculum and extra curricular activities.

The school has cultivated a culture of high standards and achievement with music and maths now taught as specialist subjects. Ofsted wrote in their 2018 report that there is strong evidence that the leadership team "have continued to raise the achievement (of Pupils)…..regardless of their background" and furthermore "the school is in the top 12% of schools nationally for progress overall".

THE ROLE:

Based in the Maths department, you will be required to teach Maths to KS4. Planning, preparing and delivering lessons, ensuring good progress is made by all and providing interesting and stimulating lessons. You will be expected to work 5 days per week, contact time approx. 18 hours per week - the time table is still being finalised.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed

Previous UK teaching experience - Maths to KS4
