Have you recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics?

OR

Do you have a degree in Mathematics and looking for a career change?

If so, you qualify for our Future Teachers Programme.

We have excellent relationships with a number of schools based in Cambridgeshire, who are looking to appoint Graduates and enrol them onto our Future Teachers Programme.

This fantastic programme has been designed to help aspiring teachers fulfil their potential, without the additional teacher training costs. We encourage all graduates to join the future teacher's programme, to gain practical classroom experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor. A perfect opportunity to test your suitability to the profession, before committing to initial teacher training.

What we can offer:

  • A placement within a school for a minimum of one-term
  • Shadowing and observations of teachers
  • A mentor at the school, to support you through the programme as well as our specialist consultants here at Teaching Personnel
  • The opportunity to plan lessons
  • Work with small groups or 1:1
  • Online support - 6 support packs with content aligned to Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework. The packs include useful documents and resources to support your role, reading materials and a badge upon completion of each pack!

To join Future Teachers, experience working in schools is not essential but you will need to demonstrate your ability to build relationships with colleagues, parents and pupils. The ability to manage behaviour, a busy timetable and cope under pressure is essential.

For more information on this excellent opportunity and to speak with our highly-trained consultants, please apply now with a copy of your CV and covering letter explaining why you believe you are suitable for the post.
