Maths Intervention

Our partner Secondary school are looking to appoint a Maths intervention specialist to start full time after half term, November 2nd until the end of the year. The school have recieved additional funding for a numeracy catch up programme which is targeted on the missed learning due to COVID. This is a large secondary school with over 1000 pupils on role. The school are looking for someone that they can invest in and make a different in their pupils numeracy skills. 

As a maths intervention specialist you will:

• Specialise in Mathematics - Degree, Masters or PGCE
• Experience working with secondary aged pupils 
• Deliver schemes of work on a 1:1 and small group basis 
• Work closely with the head of department to target pupils from year 7 to year 11

This is a perfect role if you are looking for a career in education or if you are a teacher looking to step back from the commintments of a teaching role. Having some experience tutoring would be ideal for this role as you will be boosting numeracy across the school.

You will be joining an excellent support team that will be available for advice and training in the role.
