Are you a recent Maths Graduate? Do you aspire to teach? Do you have experience of working with children?

This Oldham based school is looking for a Maths graduate to join their team and support a Year 6 class. The candidate will be required to work on a 1-2-1 basis, in small groups and occasionally with the whole class. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children and aspires to teach in the future.

The school is an average size and is overseen by a dedicated Head teacher, who puts the children at the centre of everything they do. They are incredibly supportive of the staff there in their own career progression and offer resources and flexibility that allow it's Teachers and Teaching Assistants to become the best that they can be. The children are hard working and are very well behaved.

The school is has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted and the majority of their pupils currently meet the National Average in Maths. However a handful of students do require further assistance to reach their targets, that's where you would come in!

The ideal candidate will have a Maths degree (minimum 2:2) and prior experience of working with children. An individual is required with excellent communication skills and a proactive and a positive 'can do' attitude.

This full time teaching assistant position will start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to be made a permanent member of staff may be possible for the right candidate.

Please feel free to apply if you meet the above criteria and are able to start work after the Half-Term.
