Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

This position is perfect for a recent Maths graduate who is hoping for a future career in secondary teaching, as it will provide a full year of paid work experience.

• Full-time Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant.
• Small secondary school based in Salford.
• Required immediately for the full academic year, in the first instance.
• Any experience supporting children/young people previously is desirable.
• Working alongside the class teacher and supporting students in classes.
• Gain invaluable experience prior to beginning teacher training/PGCE.
• Earn up to GBP350 per week!

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant within our client school, responsibilities will include working 1:1 with identified pupils that require additional support within certain subject areas. Further responsibilities incorporate supporting the class teacher, covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher and delivering intervention sessions to raise overall pupil attainment.

Located near Salford, our client school can be accessed via the M61 and A580. For non-drivers, there are forms of public transportation with links to the surrounding areas such as Eccles, Swinton and Prestwich.
