Future Teacher
Mathematics Graduate

If so, please see further details below of a full-time opportunity within one of our partner secondary schools that is located in the South West of Preston.
Future teachers - Mathematics Graduate
- Full-time Mathematics Graduate Teaching Assistant role
- 12 months of employment in a supportive Bolton based secondary school.
- Opportunity to progress onto a teacher training course following a successful first placement.
- Expected earning of up to £1230 per month.
- September 2019 start date.
"As part of our Future Teachers programme we wish to appoint a number of Mathematics graduates who will work closely with the schools Mathematics department as Graduate Teaching Assistants."
Successful applicants will gain 12 months of paid employment as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at a placement secondary school in Preston. Here you will receive all the support, training and experience that would be necessary to complete a teacher training course in the future. Following your placement with the school you would then also be granted an automatic place directly onto the schools teacher training programme in September 2020.
As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant your role will be to lead small groups of 10 students with Mathematics booster sessions, leading GCSE revision clubs as well as delivering whole school lessons. You will be working alongside the Mathematics lead teacher helping them to create exciting and engaging lessons to inspire young students. You must have the skills to quickly establish yourself as a role model to your pupils, showing the traits and qualities that make a good and successful member of the school
The Future Teacher Programme offers an excellent pathway for Graduates that wishing to secure a teaching role in the future.
