Tuition Available – Spring and Summer 2021
- Locations: Greenwich, Bexley and Lewisham or potentially surrounding areas
- Pay: GBP25/hour (PAYE – no umbrella company)
- Subjects: mostly English and maths (entry level, level 1 or possibly level 2)
- Students: mostly secondary school age, who are not in education for a number of reasons
I am looking for tutors to join our books from Spring 2021 onwards, you will be taking on one or more students who require 1:1 tuition whilst they are out of school.
Students may be out of school because of the following reasons:
- Excluded because of behaviour difficulties
- New to the borough and not yet assigned a school or AP placement
- Mental health difficulties – can’t cope in school
- SEN – struggling to cope with a new or pre-existing diagnosis
- They are a Looked After Child
You will provide tuition on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) for either 1, 2 or 3 hours per day, dependent on the child and their ability level.
You will have full responsibility of providing resources/materials and you will also be responsible for providing an assessment of the child’s current working level for both subjects.
You can manage your own diary, and take on more than one student per day as you would like to. You will be in direct contact with the parent or carer and be the most important person, academically, in the children’s lives until a new school or AP place can be assigned to them.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
