Job Title: Maths and English Tutor 1:1

Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Salary:

£25.00 - £30.00 Per hour

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Provide individualised Maths and English tutoring to students on a one-on-one basis
  • Create tailored lesson plans to address each student's specific needs and learning goals
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Offer guidance and support to help students improve their understanding and skills in Maths and English
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths and English to students of varying abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in Maths and English

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum for Maths and English
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
