Mathematics teaching role - Catholic school - Hackney- Oct 19

Mathematics teaching job at 'Good' Ofsted rated Catholic school based in Hackney, starting in October 2019 for a maternity cover placement role.

Rate: £125 - £215 per day.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with our client Catholic school based in the area of Hackney, seeking a Mathematics teacher to support their KS3/KS4 on a maternity cover contract starting from October 2019 for the rest of the academic year.

The Successful Maths Teacher will be teaching students in KS3 and KS4 with a range of academic abilities, from bottom to top set in classes between 15 to 25 sizes. You will be required to teach the AQA Maths curriculum, so previous experience teaching this curriculum is desirable - but not essential. The role will involve planning creative and inspiring Maths lessons to engage every student and marking their work to a high standard.

  • Maths Teacher required for Catholic school based in Hackney area from October 2019.
  • Working in an 'Good' Ofsted rated secondary school.
  • Located in the area of Hackney, East London.
  • Paid on a weekly basis through our PAYE scheme.
  • Temporary role with the opportunity of earning a permanent position due to position being maternity cover.

Due to a Maternity leave, our Catholic client's secondary School require a Maths Teacher from the October half term to work through to the summer term. They are seeking a Maths Teacher who has extensive experience teaching Maths to secondary students.

The ideal Maths Teacher we are looking for will;

  • Have previous experience teaching the AQA curriculum (not essential)
  • Have a proven track record for achieving high grades
  • Have a confident classroom presence
  • Have good behaviour management
  • be available in from October half term 2019 to teach Maths full time

This 'Good' graded Catholic secondary school is seeking a Maths Teacher, and is located in the heart of East London - in the area of Hackney, with excellent public transport links making the secondary school easy to access. With a recent 'Good' Ofsted rating and an above average Progress 8 score, the secondary school are seeking a Maths Teacher who has the confidence to maintain these high standards.
