Manchester Tutor – English and Maths

Location: Manchester  

Salary - £25 per hour

Job Type – Part Time, Flexible Hours

Are you passionate about Maths and English and want to help students excel in their studies? We are looking for a dedicated Maths and English Tutor for a face-to-face tuition to start asap based in the Manchester area.

 

About the role -

The role will be to start as soon as possible, this will be for a face to face tuition for a secondary pupil. We are looking for a fully qualified teacher or to have at least 2 years unqualified experience, this could be as a private tutor or TA. The tuition is for 15 hours per week (within school hours).

Key Duties –

  • Tutor English and Maths
  • Create customised lessons to meet students’ needs and school requirements
  • Keep track of student progress and offer regular feedback to students and schools, using our LEAP platform.

Requirements –

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (can be applied through us)
  • Strong knowledge of GCSE exam Expectations
  • Reliable and Punctual
  • QTS is desirable but not required – must have minimum requirement of 2 years teaching
  • Available during school hours (term times)
  • Safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months (if you do not have this, we do offer free training on this)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
