About the role
-Mainstream Year 1 Teaching Assistant, full time Monday to Friday 830-1530
-Start date September 2025, covering long term sickness (end date unknown)
-Pay rate starts at £89.38 per day

-Beautiful small faith school, one form entry, primary school based on the outskirts of Cowbridge
-Approximately 200 pupils on roll

-Long standing Headteacher with supportive staff structure

About you
-You will have a Primary Education degree or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-You will be supporting a year 1 class with around 8 learners having mild Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
-You will preferably have experience in helping delivering the Curriculum for Wales but not essential
-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
