About the role
-Mainstream Teaching Assistant required, Mon to Fri 830-1530
-Start date 1st September 2025, long term temporary assignment
-Pay rate starts at £89.38 per day, can be increased depending on qualifications / experience
About the school
-Beautiful small rural school on the outskirts of Cardiff near Cowbridge
-1 form entry (approx. 120 children on roll). At least 1 LSA in every class up to year 3
-Access to free parking
-Long standing Headteacher with supportive staff structure
About you
-You will have experience in working with children, preferably within a school but other environments will be considered
-You will be required to support a mainstream class, likely to be Key Stage 1 age group
-Very few learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
-You will assist the classroom teacher in delivering the national curriculum especially around Maths and English
-You will also need to be fully registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
-To be put forward for this role, you would need to undergo a 30-minute face to face registration with Teaching Personnel which would include reference and DBS checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
