Job Vacancy: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary School, Waterlooville
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated male Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with a child with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and autism in our friendly primary school based in Waterlooville.
About the role:
You will provide tailored support to help the child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your role will be vital in creating a positive, calm, and supportive learning environment.
Please note:
While the school is open to employing a female LSA, the child responds better to male TAs, so male applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience or a keen interest in supporting children with SEMH and autism

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
