Lower KS2 support assistant required in Orrell

Are you experienced supporting across lower KS2? Are you looking to make a real impact to pupils learning? Do you have experience providing 1:1, small group and whole class support?
If so a larger than average school, located in the Orrell area of Wigan is currently looking to appoint a support assistant to support across either their year 3 or year 4 class, depending on experience, providing general support to the class teacher.The role will be to start from Easter. The school aims to ensure that every child is able to succeed and is looking to further improve ensuring that every child is fully supported.
In order to be successful you will need to:
- Have a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Have strong English and Maths skills.
- Be adaptable, Flexible, Caring, Nurturing and Approachable.
- Have a real passion for making a difference.
- Has experience carrying out 1:1 and small group support.
- Hold a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
