Teaching Assistants - Eastbourne
Are you looking for your next role in education?
Are you wanting to get into the classroom and help children along with their education?
Teaching Personnel are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are looking to become Teaching Assistants for a great Primary School within the Eastbourne area. The school is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted and is a lovely community to be part of. Your day-to-day duties as a Teaching Assistant will be supporting educators in providing pupils with a high standard of educational support across varied year groups in KS1 and KS2.
The role:
- Assisting the Teacher with classroom/lesson set up.
- Building rapport with pupils
- Ensuring that focus is maintained in the classroom.
- Supporting with class groups with pre planned work as well as smaller groups if required.
The requirements:
- Have experience in working with children
- Have a DBS on the update service (or willing to complete a new one).
- NVQ Level 3
- Relevant qualifications (GCSE, A-level)
- Safeguarding trained
- First Aid trained (non-essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
