Level 3 Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant – Ammanford
Location: Ammanford, Carmarthenshire
Contract: Full-time
Pay: £100 per day

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is fluent in Welsh to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Ammanford area. This is a full-time position ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils’ learning, promoting the Welsh language, and helping create a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support pupils across the classroom, in groups and on a 1:1 basis

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality learning
-
Use Welsh confidently to support both teaching and pupil interaction
-
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning atmosphere
-
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
-
Contribute to planning, observations, and general classroom duties
Requirements
-
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

Experience working with children in an educational setting

Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to pupil progress

Ability to work well as part of a supportive team

Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
