Are you a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant seeking an exciting opportunity in nurturing school communities? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to join primary schools across Truro and the surrounding areas. As a level 3 Teaching assistant, you will be a crucial part of a team, helping to create positive and productive classroom experience.
About the role:
As a level 3 Teaching assistant, your responsibilities will include;
- Collaborating closely with class teachers to deliver inclusive and inspiring lessons.
- Develop teaching practices in nurturing and ongoing professional developments.
- Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support to meet diverse learner needs
- Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and hands-on learning activities.
- Supporting students during activities, projects, and interventions to enhance their learning experience.
- Contribute to creating a positive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environments.

What we’re looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in support teaching and learning in Schools or equivalent qualifications.
- Relevant experience working with children in an education setting.
- An understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning development.
- Abilities to work effectively as part of a team and also independently, with proactive and positive attitudes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
