Level 3 Teaching Assistant Required – Primary School | Hartlepool

Role Details
- Location: Hartlepool
- Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- School Type: Primary School
- Start Date: Immediate start / September start available
- Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
- Contract: Ongoing with the potential for a long-term placement
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work with individuals and small groups to provide targeted learning support.
- Assist pupils with varying learning abilities to help them achieve their full potential.
- Support children with additional needs where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a productive classroom environment.
- Assist with assessment activities and monitoring pupil progress.
- Help create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment for all students.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential.
- An Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
