Location: Coventry/ Warwickshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only
Salary: £90-120 per day - dependent on experience and responsibilities

As part of this vision, we are seeking to appoint a passionate and skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting teaching and learning across schools, contributing to our ethos of excellence and care.
Main Responsibilities
Under the direction of the class teacher and senior leaders, the Teaching Assistant will:
- Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of all pupils.
- Work on a 1:1 and small group basis to reinforce learning objectives, provide feedback, and promote independence.
- Contribute to the assessment process by observing, recording, and reporting pupil progress to teaching staff.
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of learning resources and classroom displays.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that supports pupil well-being.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development in line with the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Supervise pupils during break, lunch, and transition periods as part of the school’s daily routines.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to support pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL. Knowledge of IEP’s and EHCP’s will be beneficial.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and wider school life as required by the Headteacher or Trust.
Daily Expectations and Routines
- Arrive promptly to support morning setup and pupil arrival.
- Ensure resources and materials are prepared for lessons.
- Support pupils during whole-class teaching, group work, and independent learning.
- Assist with lunchtime supervision and playground duties as part of the staff rota.
- Support teachers with marking, displays, and classroom organisation at the end of the day.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a primary school environment.
- A sound understanding of child development, safeguarding, and inclusion.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, EAL, or specific learning interventions.
- Training in phonics, literacy, numeracy, or speech and language programmes.
