Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Alcester (B49)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary schools in Alcester (B49), and we are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. They are a lovely small village primary school with only 15 pupils in each year group. A level 3 qualification is required as you willl be expected to lead cover for the teachers PPA time.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom duties and lesson delivery
- Delivering PPA classes when the main class teacher is out. The work you must deliver will be preset, however you msut deliver the lesson to the class.
- Working with small groups of pupils seperately, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Building professional, nurturing relationships with pupils, staff, and families
We're looking for someone who:
- a Level 3 supporting teaching and learning qualification
- Has experience working with children (in education, care, mentoring, or similar)
- Understands the needs of primary-aged pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs
- Is patient, caring, and adaptable with a warm and approachable attitude
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
- Is confident leading when required to

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
