Teaching Personnel is working with several inclusive and well-resourced schools in Brent to appoint a qualified and experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs and a proven background in working within SEN settings.
You’ll be working one-to-one and in small groups, supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism (ASD), speech and language difficulties, ADHD, and SEMH. Experience in complex needs and communication support is highly valued.

The Role:

Provide tailored support to pupils with EHCPs, working alongside teachers and SENCOs

Use communication systems such as PECS, Makaton, or visual schedules to support understanding and reduce anxiety
-
Promote pupil independence, positive behaviour, and emotional regulation
-
Contribute to behaviour plans and personalised learning interventions
About You:
-
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent (CACHE, NCFE, or similar)
-
Experience working with children with special educational needs (school, care or SEN settings)

Skilled in using SEN strategies and confident managing behaviour positively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
