Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

Location: Blackpool
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term-Time Only)
Start Date: October 2025

Are you a qualified Early Years practitioner with a Level 3 qualification, looking to make a real impact in a child’s early development? A welcoming primary school in Blackpool is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team this October.

Role Overview:

You’ll work closely with the class teacher to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Assist in planning and delivering creative, age-appropriate activities
  • Help maintain a secure and welcoming classroom environment
  • Observe and record children’s progress, sharing insights with teaching staff
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to meet individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma or equivalent)
  • Experience in a nursery or school EYFS setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
