Level 3 Full-time Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils’ learning and development, working closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
Job Title: Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Burnley
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £14.25 - £14.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to pupils across all key stages in line with the national curriculum.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, adapting resources to meet individual needs.
- Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring they can access learning effectively.
- Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment.
- Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support where required.
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
