Learning Support Worker (full-time / permanent position)
A school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel located in Leeds (LS15), are looking for a Learning Support worker / Learning Mentor to start in the next 4 weeks (or sooner) for a full-time / permanent role. The upcoming position will be working with various pupils across the Primary age range from Early Years - Year 6 delivering pupils interventions to help raise pupil attainment across the school. In order to qualify for this role candidates MUST have a Teaching & Learning qualifiation (Level 3 or above) or, an Education University based degree.
The Leeds (LS15) Primary school is part of a Multi-Academy Trust of schools and are also a Teaching alliance school. The school is approximately 15 minutes away from the Leeds City centre. Public transport routes are also available to and from the school such as regular buses and train services. This primary school are looking for enthusiastic and supportive Learning Support worker who can help raise pupil attainment in core subjects across the school. The friendly primary team are looking for a confident and experienced Learning Support assistant who will help enhance the schools ethos, values, expectations and beliefs.

- Candidates must be available school hours, full-time and able to start in the next 4 weeks or, after February half-term
- Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in a primary education environment
- Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
- Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing one-to-one support for pupils of lower abilities or pupils with SEN
- Candidates must have an up to date CV and 2 references which are educational based
- Candidates applying MUST have previous experience working with Primary school aged children in a professional capacity
