SEMH Teaching Assistants – Thetford & Surrounding Areas

Teaching Personnel is looking for SEMH Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in Thetford and nearby areas, working across Reception to Year 11.

Your Role

  • Support students with SEMH needs in the classroom
  • Help create a safe, structured, and positive environment
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
  • Assist the teacher with lessons and activities
  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

Important Information

  • Experience working with children or young people preferred
  • Pay includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay
  • Temporary and permanent roles available
  • Enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks required (full support provided)
  • Free Child Protection and Prevent Duty training available
  • Full UK Driving Licence required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
