SEN Teaching Assistant/ LSA | Thurrock
We are currently looking for LSA's and SEN Teaching Assistants for temporary and permanent roles to work in some of our partnered Schools and SEN provisions. To help mitigate the implications COVID-19 has had on young children’s education, the government has allocated additional funding to schools to take on additional teaching staff to support lessons thus the school are needing more staff. This advert is for a temporary position however, in some cases the role may become available on a permanent basis through our temp to perm scheme. Applicants are encouraged to apply if they come from a teaching background, psychology, and sport graduates or those who have worked in a support or youth worker role... we would love to hear from you!
You must be able to easily adapt to situations, be attentive and communicate effectively within your team in order to maintain the high level of standards expected.
Minimum Requirements
• Relevant SEN experience (PMLD, ASC, SLD or MLD) or qualifications is desired. Team Teach qualification would be re
• A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve their best potential
• Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support
• A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willing apply for one
• Good interpersonal skills and confidence
• Punctual and reliable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
