Learning Support Assistant

Have you got experience as a Teaching Assistant? A new opportunity has arisen in Chelmsford for immediate start.

The provision is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant. This role will require you to support SEN individuals including 1:1 tuition and focus on their physical needs and personal care. Some of the individuals can have challenging behaviour in which you will be required to support. The individuals are young adults and are aged 19-25 years. The main reason the children attend the provision is due to their Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Few children may have severe mental health needs which you would need to consider and be confident in supporting. Experience of supporting SEN is essential.

You will work 6.5 hours a day with the hours being 8:45-15:15. It is a temporary to permanent job with a pay rate of GBP9.50 an hour.
