Learning Support Assistant

This is an ideal role for any individuals looking to further their experience within secondary education, working with pupils who have additional needs and SEN.

• Full-time Learning Support Assistant required to ASAP.
• Based within a secondary school in Bolton.
• Ideal for recent graduates to build experience prior to teacher training.
• Earn up to £1450 per month, depending upon previous experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working alongside class teachers supporting students aged 11-16.
• Working 1:1 with identified pupils that require additional support due to their specific learning needs.
• Possible SEN involved could be ADHD, Autism, or additional learning needs such as Dyslexia and Dyspraxia.
• Delivering sessions to suit specific SEN and the possibility of covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher.

To be considered for this role experience working within an educational setting and with children and young people who have SEN or behavioural needs is desirable.

Located in Bolton, the school can be accessed via the M66/A56 and via several public transport links from surrounding areas including Bury, Salford and Wigan.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
