Learning Support Assistant – Wythenshawe, Manchester
Location: Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester
Pay: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly, supportive school in Wythenshawe. Whether you have classroom experience or have supported young people in other settings, this could be the perfect role for you!

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support for students who need extra help
  • Assisting the teacher in creating an inclusive and positive classroom environment
  • Encouraging pupils to stay engaged and confident in their learning
  • Being a reliable, approachable presence for students who may find school challenging

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Loves working with children and young people
  • Is patient, positive, and proactive
  • Can build strong relationships with students and staff
  • Has experience with special educational needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech and language) – training provided if needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
