Are you looking to support children with special needs? Teaching Personnel are now recruiting for our client SEN School local to Wickford, Essex!
About the school:
Our client school is a special school that offers access to education for students aged 5 to 19 who have difficulty learning as a result of Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties(SLD/MLD). This includes; Autism, Speech and Language difficulties, and Complex Learning Needs. The school is based local to the Wickford area, they are looking for an LSA to join their team as of September 2020.
You will be required to help develop young people's emotional well-being and social skills. The aim is to develop students to be effective learners so they are able to cope better with the things they find challenging. As a school, they do this through a focus on establishing positive and healthy relationships, emotional well-being and developing social skills.
This particular role is to work on a one-to-one basis with a student in Year 10, this student has complex needs so experience with SEN will be essential.
Ideal Candidate:
You will be available on a full time basis for a temporary to permanent role. If you do not already have experience working in a setting such as this then any similar experience, working specifically with learning difficulties may also be included.

As we are looking for someone to start with quite short notice it is preferred if you have a DBS on the update service. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
