Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work across schools in Stockton-on-Tees, providing vital support to pupils with additional needs in the classroom.

The Role

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEND).

• Assist class teachers in delivering learning activities and managing classroom behaviour.

• Help pupils reach their full potential both academically and socially.

• Encourage positive engagement, confidence, and independence among learners.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (desired but not essential).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs.

• Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school environment.

• Ability to drive and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).
