Learning Support Assistant
Part time opportunity - New Forest area
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join one of our partner schools in the Lymington area on a part-time basis.
This rewarding opportunity is due to start after the Easter break and will continue through to the end of the summer term. The role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the classroom, supporting pupils in their learning and helping them to reach their full potential.
Due to the school’s location, it is essential that applicants are able to drive, as there are no public transport links available.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team, you will provide targeted support to pupils, both on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. The role would suit someone who is patient, proactive, and confident in adapting their approach to meet a range of learning needs.
The school is known for its nurturing environment and strong community ethos. Staff work collaboratively to ensure all pupils feel supported, engaged, and inspired in their learning.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)
- Be calm, positive, and encouraging in their approach
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be flexible and willing to support across different areas of the school
- Hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
