Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Southampton

We are looking for caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly school teams across Southampton. This is a rewarding role for anyone passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support in the classroom

• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN, social, emotional, or behavioural challenges

• Assist teachers with learning activities and behaviour support

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

• Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and engagement

About You:

• Calm, patient, and caring in your approach

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is preferred

• Understanding of inclusion and safeguarding

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
